Right now with the COVID 19 virus restrictions, we encourage you to watch our live stream of our worship services on our Facebook Page live on Sundays at 11 AM. We want you to stay home and stay connected by watching the service on line. This way we are still connecting safely.

Hello Team West Bend,

I sure hope you are all doing well or for those who have been ill, getting better.

Just in case you didn’t receive my phone call yesterday, I wanted to be sure to let you know that I have decided to halt all of our public gatherings and even practices for the time being. It was a difficult decision but it was based on much prayer and collaborative efforts. There are many in the high risk category within our church family and it just seems wise to practice social distancing at this time so that we do not carry contagions unaware to anyone we come in contact with on the way to or from the church.

It may be helpful for you to continue to check the Randolph County website for valuable information that impacts our community at large. This will help us to continue to make informed decisions and I hope it will be of benefit to you.  http://www.randolphcountync.gov/

On that website you will learn who’s at risk:

The declaration of the State of Emergency:

AND of particular note for us, the Proclamation for a Day of Prayer on April 6.

While gatherings in the West Bend church building have been suspended, the ministry of the church still continues on. We are still sending meals out to the homeless on Tuesdays, giving messages on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sunday morning worship and trying to keep connected and keep the building maintained. Though we cannot meet in person, we are still counting on you to contribute to the mission of the church. I truly appreciate those who have faithfully mailed in your tithes and offerings as well as those who have begun to give through our online giving app. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your gifts will ensure that the ministry continues and that the church is still healthy when we are able to gather again.

You can also help with your presence. Please turn to our Facebook page on Sunday mornings at 11:00 for a Facebook live worship experience. Invite your friends to watch as well and to like our page. You never know if someone may be looking for a church home when we can all gather again and they may decide West Bend is the church to come to.

Also, frequently check our website and Facebook page as we will keep updates and any additional messages I offer where you can access them on these sites.  We are all in this together so that we can be together again soon.

Stay well. Wash your hands. Social distance. BUT please stay in touch and let me know if you need anything.

Every Blessing,

Pastor Kari
